Every day children in our community are victimized – Abused – Neglected - Abandoned.
Every day, through no fault of their own, they are removed from their homes and placed into our juvenile court system. They may be frightened and confused. But, with your help, they are not alone.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) of Del Norte provides trained volunteers who advocate for these children. These volunteers, or CASAs, give the children the healing gift of their time, helping each child to a secure, safe, and permanent home where they can thrive. CASAs stand by the child in court and in life, listening to their fears as well as their dreams and giving them a voice.
Now CASA of Del Norte needs your help. Your generous donation will fund the continued training and support of volunteer advocates for CASA of Del Norte.
In our county, more children need CASAs than we can currently provide. Your gift will assure that when a child needs help, CASA of Del Norte will be there for them.
CASA of Del Norte is a collaborative partner with other services in our community. These partnerships build strong values and a view of the “larger picture” for the children of Del Norte County.

CASA of Del Norte is a 501 (c ) (3) non-profit corporation.
Our volunteer advocates interview parents, teachers, social workers, and anyone else who might have insight into the needs, challenges and strengths of the child. Volunteer advocates form a team with their case supervisor and supplement the role of other professionals involved in the child’s case.
Your donation to CASA of Del Norte is used to support the outreach to discover potential advocates in the community, it is used to sustain the staff which supervises and supports the advocates for all the cases to which CASA of Del Norte is assigned by the court.
Your donation may also be used to train new advocates and provide on-going educational opportunities to the current advocates.
Supporting CASA of Del Norte with a donation now, can help to not only sustain, but to expand the existing local program. The communities that comprise Del Norte County have a very generous nature. We see it often in speaking with our non-profit collaborative partners.
