CASA of Del Norte will launch a Speaker's Series with "Inside the Teenage Brain" on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the Family Resource Center - 494 Pacific Avenue, Crescent City -
Thomas C. Rector is the presenter for this first topic in the newly launched Speaker's Series. Mr. Rector is a foster parent, adoptive parent, CASA Volunteer Advocate, and a business owner. His interest in this topic began with a curiosity about the children in his life and their development. Research and inquiry lead to an understanding of the formation of memory, the windows of opportutnity for development and a genuine interest in sharing his knowledge with parents and anyone who works with or knows children and youth.
